Alert #00003 - OMOJEWE JOSEPH OMAWUNMI
- Public Alert
PUBLIC DISCLAIMER
Our attention has been drawn to two documents titled: OMOJEWE, JOSEPH OMAWUMI dated 15th July 2019 and LETTER OF INTRODUCTION dated 28th August, 2019 respectively.
These two letters that were purportedly issued and signed by, and on behalf of our Principal Protocol Officer, Pastor Bolaji Ojuri in favour of one MR OMOJEWE, JOSEPH OMAWUMI and addressed to “Visa Officer, British Deputy High Commission” DID NOT emanate from the said Officer of ours. THEY WERE FORGED.
Usually, our Principal Protocol Officer has a unique pattern of writing such sensitive letters completely different from these forged documents. For instance, we don’t address this kind of letter to “Visa Officer”. Our letters are submitted with the official Identity Card and Pay Slip of our pastor/officer attached. They also contain the direct phone number of our Principal Protocol Officer through which the Embassy can verify such letters.
We therefore, use this medium to publicly dissociate ourself from these forged letters and the person behind such forgery. We also like the general public to know that we did not issue these two letters or any other document(s) whatsoever to MR OMOJEWE, JOSEPH OMAWUMI with respect to his traveling out of Nigeria to the United Kingdom.
